RuneScape players with paid membership accounts can make the Ogre Composite Bow, as long as they have a Fletching level of at least 30. Players will be required to have completed the Zogre Flesh Eater Quest to be eligible to make this bow. The Ogre Composite Bow is the only weapon that can be used to range brutal arrows. Although there are no range skill requirements to make this item, you will need at least a level of 30 to use it.
Instructions
1. Log in to your paid member account on RuneScape. Go to any bank and empty your backpack into the banking account.
2. Check your inventory to make sure that you have the highest level woodcutting axe that you can wield, as well as a knife and bowstrings. These are items commonly stored in bank accounts of members who fletch. You also need Achey Tree logs and wolf bones, but you probably won't have any of them stored in the bank. You will have to obtain those items to create the Ogre Composite Bow.
3. Obtain one set of wolf bones for each bow that you plan to make. You must have the wolf bones in your backpack when you are ready to fletch the Achey tree logs into Ogre Composite Bows. The wolf bones are sometimes available for purchase at the Grand Exchange, and occasionally another player may be willing to sell some to you. However, it is more likely that you'll have to kill the wolves to get the bones that you need. There are wolves and wolf-like monsters all over RuneScape, and all of them drop wolf bones when they are killed.
4. Return to the bank and empty the wolf bones from your backpack into the account. Withdraw the woodcutting axe. Get one pile of Achey tree logs for each bow that you want to make. This is another item that may be available at the Grand Exchange or from other players. If not, you will have to chop them down with the woodcutting axe to get the logs. Achey trees are located at Castle Wars north of Oo'glog, as well as in the Feldip Hills. You obtained the level needed to cut them when you graduated from Tutorial Island.
5. Empty your backpack into your bank account when you are through cutting Achey tree logs. Withdraw the knife. Also withdraw one bowstring, one wolf bone and one Achey tree log for each Ogre Composite Bow that you wish to make.
6. Use the knife on each of the Achey Tree logs to create an unstrung Ogre Composite Bow. Each time you make one, a wolf bone will disappear from your backpack. Do not wield the knife, but it must be stored in your backpack while you fletch.
7. Use a bowstring on each of the unstrung bows to make the finished Ogre Compound Bow.
