Adding colorful bows to the pews in the church where your wedding will be held is a beautiful way to decorate and add color to your ceremony. Many pews are built so that the bows can be banded over the top of them, but be sure to check your church before you order the bows.
Instructions
1. Choose the type of bows you want to use for the pews during your wedding. Silk, satin and tulle pew bows are popular among brides and can be ordered in a variety of different colors.
2. Count how many bows you will need and be sure to order the correct amount or order enough materials if you are making them yourself. Be sure to measure the length of the pew and decide how long you want the bows to hang.
3. Choose the color you want added to the pew bow. Pew bows are traditionally white or ivory but any color can be used to brighten up the aisle. Choose a color that goes along with the wedding colors.
4. Add smaller colorful objects to plain white pew bows. Add a single flower that is the same as the ones being used in your bridal party bouquets to each pew bow for added color.
5. Overlap pew bows. Use a plain white or ivory colored bow in one type of material such as tulle and add a smaller bow in a wedding color to complement the larger bow in silk or satin.
