Accidents happen. Whether it is due to incontinence, pets, children or a night of too much drinking, urine stains on your mattress can occur. But don't throw that bed away. If you have a pillowtop mattress, there's a relatively easy solution to make that bed stain free.
Instructions
1. Dab the stain with a dry cloth to soak up any remaining liquid. Be sure to apply lots of pressure, and do not scrub. Scrubbing will only help set the stain.
2. Mix 1 tbls. of liquid dish soap, 1 tbls. of white vinegar and 2 cups of warm water.
3. Dab the stain with the mixture. Allow it to sit for a few minutes.
4. Take a clean rag and dab the area, applying pressure to soak up as much liquid as possible.
5. Pour a small amount of hydrogen peroxide directly onto the stain. Allow it to sit for a few minutes.
6. Dry the spot with the hair dryer with the dryer on a low setting. Be sure not to hold the dyer too close to the fabric.
