Use hair bows to help accessorize your tutu.
Many young girls like dressing up in a tutu so they can look like a ballerina or princess. A tutu also makes a desirable costume for a birthday party with a similar theme or for Halloween. Add additional flair to the tutu by including a bow. You can find a hair-clip bow made out of satin ribbon that matches the color of the tutu and adhere it to the waistline. There are also other designs you can do with hair-clip bows on a tutu, such as applying them along the tutu's edge.
Instructions
1. Place your hair bow on a flat surface with the back side facing you.
2. Take Velcro and place it on top of the hair bow to assess how large a piece you need without making it visible when you look at the hair bow from the front side. Use scissors to cut the Velcro to the shape and size you need.
3. Add a dab of glue from a hot glue gun to the back of the hair bow. If it comes with a clip, apply the glue to the clip.
4. Apply a dab of glue to the back side of the Velcro. Spread it across its surface and place it on top of the dab of glue on the hair bow.
5. Apply a dab of glue to the front center waistline of the tutu and the remaining back side of the velcro and stick the two together.
