Make your own no slip hair clips at home.
Hair clips are a decorative way to accessorize your baby. Since a baby's hair is often thin, hair clips will not stay in place. You can remedy this problem by making your own no slip hair clips with shelf liner. You can customize them to match your baby's outfits so that you will never need to buy boutique clips again.
Instructions
1. Cover a single prong salon clip with decorative flat fabric. Attach the fabric with a hot glue gun to cover the hair clip and smooth the fabric out. Cut off any excess fabric.
2. Embellish the hair clip with decorative items. You can make the hair clips match outfits by attaching faux flowers, jewels and beads to the hair clip with a hot glue gun.
3. Cut two pieces of non-slip shelf liner to the size of the salon hair clip.
4. Attach the non-slip shelf liner to the hair clip with a hot glue gun. You will need to attach the liner to the lower and upper areas underneath the clip.
5. Allow the hot glue to dry. Attach the hair clip to your baby's hair.
