Instructions
Using the Rabbit Corkscrew
1. Remove all foil and seals before using the corkscrew.
Remove foil and wax from the top of the wine bottle with the foil-cutter that came with the corkscrew; if the foil cutter is missing, the foil may have a pull tab for easy removal, or you can carefully use a knife or scissors. Removing the foil and wax prevents damage to the coiled part of the corkscrew.
2. Hold the gripping handles of the rabbit with one hand. Pull the top handle forward and down to raise the corkscrew. Center the corkscrew over the cork. Squeeze the gripping handles tightly around the neck of the bottle.
3. Pull the top handle up and back; this will drive the corkscrew into the cork. Pull the same handle forward and down and remove the cork from the bottle.
4. Remove the cork from the screw by bringing the handle up and back and squeezing the cork tightly between the gripping handles; as the handle moves forward and down again, the cork is released.
