Make Hair Bows Out of Duct Tape
A pretty bow in your hair often complements an attractive dress when you go out. If you find that you do not have a bow to match your dress or the occasion, you can make a bow easily using colorful duct tape. A duct tape bow is not only pretty but easy and inexpensive to make. More importantly, it only takes a few minutes to make the bow.
Instructions
1. Use the ruler to measure 2 inches of duct tape.
2. Cut the 2 inches of duct tape.
3. Fold the piece of duct tape in half horizontally.
4. Open the fold. The fold at the center will mark two equal halves. Fold each half into horizontal halves that meet at the fold at the center.
5. Turn the folded piece of tape and fold in half once more.
6. Open the folds. The tape will have the shape of an accordion.
7. Cut a narrow piece of clear sticky tape.
8. Gather the folds at the center and bind with clear sticky tape. The ends of the duct tape will have a bow shape. You can spread the fringes to make a prettier bow.
9. Push the bobby pin through the clear sticky tape binding.
