As Halloween approaches, there are many ways that you can decorate your home or office. One of most common decorations for Halloween and fall are pictures and decals of pumpkins. For an arts and crafts project, you may need a picture of a pumpkin or you may need a simple clip art picture to put in an email. Clip art of pumpkins can easily be found on software installed on your computer and on free-picture websites.
Instructions
1. Check the clip art available in your email service or other software available on your computer. For example, if you're using Microsoft Outlook to send an email, you can go to the "Insert" option and then click on the "clip art" option. Search "pumpkin" and then insert the image into your email. The same can be done for software such as Microsoft Word.
2. Go to a free stock photo website such as Free Stock Photos or Public Domain Clip Art (see resources). These websites will include a directory of royalty-free clip art. You can search for "pumpkin" as a keyword or look in a category titled "Fall" or "Halloween."
3. Purchase and use greeting card software, such as the Belltech Greeting Card Designer (see resources). With this software, you can easily find all types of holiday clip art, including pumpkin images, that you can include in a printable, self-made card.
4. Find clip art stickers and pictures of pumpkins in Halloween coloring books. Such coloring books can be found at most retail and craft stores. The benefit of using sticker clip art is that you don't have to print the pumpkin images yourself.
5. Go to the Pumpkin Patches and More website for a long list of links of websites that offer free Halloween clip art (see resources). This website is a great resource for finding tons of pumpkin clip art.
