Line Hair Snap Clips

Snap clips are great for keeping hair in place and disguising hair bumps or other hairdo imperfections. Lining such clips with ribbon is a fun project that can be given to friends and family as small gifts. Use as many varieties of ribbon as desired to create a rainbow of colored snap clips. A hot glue gun works well with this project as it is easy to work with fast-drying, long-lasting glue.

Instructions

1. Unsnap the snap clip so the center of the clip springs towards you. Apply hot glue to the entire front of the clip (the larger part farthest from you) and on the inside of the wider (bottom) section of the clip.

2. Apply glue to your chosen ribbon and press the ribbon onto the clip, ensuring the ribbon rounds both ends of the clip save the center spring. Cut the ribbon as needed for a correct fit.

3. Allow to dry. The finished product should be entirely coated by the ribbon with the exception of the center spring. Style in hair as desired.
