Hairstyles With Hair Bows
A hairbow is a pretty addition to any hairstyle. There are all types to choose from; polka dots, flowers, stripes and animals are just a few. There are also all kinds of lengths and widths to choose from. Children, teenagers and adults can all wear hair bows. Each age group can wear hair bows in ways that are both flattering and age appropriate.
Children
All children look beautiful in hair bows. Children are able to wear one or many hair bows in their hair at a time. A cute look for a little girl is a straight part down the middle of the hair and a hair bow clip on each side of the head. The hair bows can be any bright color. Black is not recommended as a color for a hair bow on a child because it is too somber. Little girls also look wonderful with two pigtails that are each tied with a colorful hair bow. Kids can wear hair bows of any length or width. Printed hair bows-such as those with animal or flower designs-look sweet on young girls.
Teens
As a girl grows into a teenager, it is important to keep hair bows to a minimum. Small hair bows are appealing as are hair bows worn into a headband. Take one long piece of any color ribbon; it can be a wide or thin width. Make into a headband by placing the ribbon on the head and tying it into a bow underneath. You can then keep the hair bow underneath or slide the ribbon so the hair bow is seen at the side of the head or on top of the head. Each of these looks is pretty and adds a sense of charm to a teenage girls look. Teenagers can also wear their hair in a high ponytail tied with a hair bow. This is a pleasing and interesting look and more desirable than merely just wearing an elastic ponytail holder.
Adults
For an adult woman, hair bows can only be worn in a sophisticated, mature fashion. Hair bows should be of luxurious fabrics, such as tulle, satin or lace. The colors should be kept in a neutral color scheme; such as beige, white, cream, tan and black. Red, burgundy and navy blue are also flattering colors on an adult woman. Hair bows have to be worn loose and deconstructed. Tie hair together with a hair bow and let it fall to the shoulders, the bow should not be worn tight and should have a relaxed feel, as to not look too severe. This is a gorgeous look when worn with a sundress and sandals. It is both age appropriate and striking.
