Hello Kitty Invitation
Create homemade Hello Kitty birthday invitations.Draw and cut out Hello Kitty's face shape. Add eyes, nose and whiskers, and of course the famous red bow. Mount the Hello Kitty face onto red or pink card stock. Run a line of glue around the edges of Hello Kitty's face and dust with white sparkle. Write party information on the reverse side of the invitation.
Paw Print Trail
Direct party guests to various activity stations -- coloring table, cake table or game area -- with a kitty paw print trail. Use sidewalk chalk to make kitty paw prints from the street or driveway to the front door. Once inside, tape kitty paw prints cut from pink construction paper onto walls, floors and furniture. Not only are the paw prints an inexpensive way to add to the party decor, but they help guests know where they are allowed to roam within your home.
Hello Kitty Costume
Dress the birthday girl up in a homemade Hello Kitty costume. Re-purpose a white Easter bunny ears headband to resemble cat ears. Cut the ears at the base and trim the ears to size before gluing the shorter versions back onto the headband base. Add a red bow to the left ear. Put a yellow dot sticker on the tip of the birthday girl's nose and draw three whiskers on either side of her nose with an eyeliner pencil. Hello Kitty has a variety of outfits, from tutus and sundresses to overalls and astronaut costumes, so the birthday girl has a wide array of choices for her costume.
Pin the Bow on Hello Kitty Game
Draw a simple outline picture of Hello Kitty's face, minus the bow, on a large white piece of paper and tape it to a wall. Cut enough properly sized bows out of red construction paper or card stock so that each child will have a turn. Use double-sided tape on the back of the bows. Blindfold each child in turn as she attempts to put the red bow on Hello Kitty's left ear. The child who gets it the closest to the proper placement should win a Hello Kitty-themed prize.
