Instructions
1. Buy the right bikini. Shop around until you find a bikini with a bottom that is a good style and fit for your shape. Experiment with bikini bottom styles like boy shorts, high-rise, low-rise, full coverage, thong, Brazilian cut, Bermuda, full rear coverage, skirts, sheer and tonga. Contrary to popular opinion, most women can wear bikinis. It is a matter of finding the one that is right for you. Some retailers let you "mix and match" tops and bottoms to customize the look and fit of your bikini.
2. Wax or shave your bikini line and be diligent about moisturizing. A tantalizing bikini draws the eye, but you don't want those eyes seeing stubble or razor burn. The more you show, the more maintenance is required. However, looking fantastic in a bikini is well worth the effort.
3. Tone your tush. Bikini bottoms look their best on shapely bottoms. Certainly it is your bikini's job to fit you and not vice versa. However, the better you look, the better the bikini looks on you. Stay fit. Also experiment with exercises that streamline and shape your posterior. Depending on your shape, you may also want to work potential problem areas like your waist and thighs for a beautiful bikini body.
4. Dry off whenever possible and keep your bikini-clad parts clean. Your bikini bottom can become a bottom biohazard, since any wet bathing suit makes a fine breeding ground for bacteria. Folliculitis, popularly known as "bikini bottom" is characterized by tiny red bumps that itch. Wash thoroughly with soap and water and then keep the area as dry as possible. A vinegar compress or cortisone cream can provide relief. See a doctor if the problem persists and/or worsens.
5. Wear a pareo over your bikini bottom if you encounter an unforeseen problem like a tear in a bad place. Even if your bikini bottom is in fine shape, a pareo is a nice option for a little sun protection or as a barrier between your nether regions and a hot car seat.
