Record every detail of your hair style.
Dietitians will sometimes advise patients to keep a food journal in order to lose weight. A hair care journal is similar in the fact that it is meant to keep track of the present to help in the future. By keeping track of your hair habits, you will remember what methods and daily care tricks to use in the future.
Instructions
1. Write down the date at the top of the page in your journal.
2. Measure how long your hair is, and write down the measurement in inches.
3. Describe what your current hair cut is, or include a photo of your hair.
4. Write down who cut and/or colored your hair.
5. Write down the steps you perform to style your hair every day. Include the specific products and styling tools. Make sure to include the shampoo and conditioner you use in the shower.
6. Update your hair journal every time you use a new product, get a new cut or change the way you style your hair.
