Successful hair bow vendors are able to entice customers to view their merchandise through a visually appealing booth, actions or unusual product offerings. Whether your hair bow booth focuses on children, teenagers or an assortment of hair-related accessories, you need to create a display that can be seen easily by potential customers walking by your booth. The goal for your hair bow booth is to lure in clients and keep them looking at your bows until they make a purchase.
Display
Your display should stand out from nearby vendors. Make a statement by displaying bows on interesting objects such as laughing mannequins, dolphin statues or replicas of art. Just make sure your bows stand out more than your props. Enhance your display by using a background and lighting that highlights your bows. For example, if most of your bows are in bright colors, use a black background and white lighting to make your bows stand out.
Activity
Create excitement at your booth by making some bows in person. If possible, add a dramatic flair to the display through music, wild materials or funny ornaments that you attach to your bows. While you may not sell many of the wilder creations, you will bring in customers to see the activity, which will increase your sales.
Customize
Offer to make custom bows for customers and make signs that announce this feature. Have a variety of ribbon and other materials on hand that customers can select for their custom creation. Feature items such as dangling charms and letters that can be used to create a one-of-a kind bow. Earn repeat clients and referrals through your special custom bows.
Stores
Work with nearby clothing stores to offer your bows to complement their outfits. Make sure your company name is featured on a display card. This strategy will increase your exposure and your potential sales. Customers who like your bows will buy them in the store and may come to your booth to buy bows for outfits purchased at other locations.
Communication
Talk to potential customers as they pass by your hair bow booth. Have employees offer suggestions of complementary bows for outfits that people are wearing, and ask them to come and look through your selection. This action turns pedestrians into potential clients.
Off-Hours Advertising
Make your booth advertise your hair bows even when it is closed. Feature prominent signs on the outside of your booth that entice customers to return when your booth is open. Provide information on your services and pictures of some of your stunning creations.
