A paci holder keeps a baby's pacifier off the floor.
A pacifier (paci) holder or clip is a cute, practical way to keep a child's pacifier within reach and off the floor. It uses simple, inexpensive materials you may already have around the house. Instructions
1. Seal the ends of a 10-inch ribbon using the flame from a lighter or match. Lightly touch the ribbon to the flame, allowing the ribbon to melt slightly but not singe or burn. The process should take only a few seconds.
2. Feed the ribbon through the hole of a mitten clip. Mitten clips are available in the "notions" section of craft stores.
3. Sew the ribbon 3/4 to 1 inch away from the mitten clip. Do this using a straight stitch on a sewing machine, ensuring the unfinished edge is to the back of the mitten clip.
4. Secure a snap to the other end of the ribbon (away from the mitten clip). Follow the snap manufacturer's instructions when placing the snap to ensure it will stay secured to the ribbon.
5. Attach the pacifier. Thread the snap end of the ribbon through the pacifier's handle. Snap to secure the pacifier, and clip the mitten clip to the baby's shirt.
