Hair clip Valentines make thoughtful gifts for little girls on Valentine's Day. These cute Valentine's will make it into the hair accessory drawer instead of the trash can when the day is over. Hair clip Valentine's are inexpensive and easy enough for a child to assemble.
Instructions
1. Cut 3 hearts out of craft foam. Use pink, red and white craft foam for a colorful, festive clip.
2. Arrange the hearts in a small cluster and glue them together with hot glue. Have your child assemble the hearts with tacky glue. Only adults should use a hot glue gun.
3. Attach the cluster of hearts to the wide end of a snap clip. Set the clip aside until it is completely dry.
4. Use a cookie cutter or other heart template to trace a heart on construction paper. Cut the heart out using straight edge or scalloped scissors.
5. Write a message on the paper heart using a marker. Write clever phrases such as "Valentine, we sure click" or "I'm hair to stay, Valentine."
6. Clip the hair clip to the paper heart. Put each Valentine in a small envelope or give them as they are.
