Flower loop bows have multiple loops, which lends the completed bow the look of a flower with lush petals. Create a flower loop bow out of fabric ribbon for a decoration that lasts forever, or use gift ribbon for snazzy packages or pew decorations at weddings and other ceremonies.
Instructions
1. Begin making the bow's outer-ring of loops. These loops are the outside layer of your flower, so they will be the longest. Hold one end of the ribbon and folding it over until it's size you want. Hold this loop under your thumb. Continue to make loops, moving in a clockwise circle until you meet the first loop.
2. Staple your loops together in the middle and cut the excess ribbon away.
3. Repeat this process, making the loops smaller so they nestle inside the first ring. Typically, flower loop bows consist of three layers in graduated sizes. Staple all three layers together in the center.
4. Create a circle of ribbon to act as the center of your flower. Fold each end under and staple it down. Use a small stapler that can slide under the top of the circle so your staples don't show.
5. Fluff your loops to create the finished flower loop bow.
