In order to create bow string for magic bows in "RuneScape," you must first obtain flax. By spinning flax into bow string and then adding it to an unfinished magic bow, you can create your own magic longbow or shortbow, which you can use or sell. Creating your own shortbows and longbows rewards you with 80 and 85 experience points in the "fletching" skill.
Instructions
1. Teleport to Camelot and walk west to Seer's Village. Keep walking the path until you reach the bank.
2. Walk south from the bank until you reach a fenced-in area. Inside the area is a field of flax.
3. Pick the flax until your inventory contains as much flax as needed.
4. Walk slightly west and then north until you reach a two-story building.
5. Walk into the building and walk up the ladder. You will reach a room with a spinning wheel.
6. Click the spinning wheel and a box will open. Right click on the word "Flax" and select "Spin All." You will spin the entire inventory into bow string.
7. Walk out of the building and head north to the bank. Bank your bow string, grab teleport runes to Varrock, and teleport to the Grand Exchange.
8. Purchase the items with the titles "Magic Shortbow (u)" or "Magic Longbow (u)" as needed. The "(u)" represents an unfinished bow.
9. Grab the bow string and the unfinished magic bows.
10. Click a bow string and then click the unfinished bow. Select "All" using the arrows in the right corner of the dialog box. Click the "Magic Longbow" or "Magic Shortbow" icon. You will fletch the bow string with the unfinished magic bows. You now have magic bows.
