According to the Greeting Card Association, Americans spend over $7.5 billion on greeting cards per year. Photo greeting cards can be a good choice for craft sales, because they can be inexpensive to buy and 9 out of 10 households purchase cards, according to the Association. Cards are lightweight to transport and simple to display.
Instructions
1. Choose a method to package your photo cards for sale. You can purchase clear bags or stationary boxes at craft stores or online. It is best to package cards in plastic if the craft fair is going to be held outdoors, so that your merchandise will be kept safe from moisture and dust. If you are selling cards in multi-packs, you can also tie them with raffia or ribbon.
2. Display individual cards in small boxes where customers can flip through them, or purchase a small table-top card spinner or cardboard display stand. These are the best options for insuring your customers will have a full view of the products available.
3. Create cute labels for your cards by hand or with a desktop publishing program. Include your company name, e-mail address and website if you have one, so that customers can find more cards to buy from you.
4. Place your photo cards where they will be out of the sun and easily viewed. Create levels with crates or boxes so that they attract attention.
