Dye Hair Various colored

Dye Hair Multicolored

You're ready for a massive change; something that sets you apart and shows the world that you are a trendsetter. Since your hair is the first thing most people notice, creating a rainbow of color streaking across your head will stop them in their tracks. Follow some guidelines when the creative hair-flair fever hits you.

Instructions

1. Purchase the correct hair color products. If this is a temporary hairdo, make sure you buy products that only coat the surface of the hair shaft before shampooing out. This is easier if your hair is blonde; dark hair will not show temporary colors as well.

2. Choose an array of colors that suit your taste and gather them together for one single dying session. Using different colors will make the process longer since each one needs to be mixed separately.

3. Start with the bottom sections of your hair and clip the rest of your hair on top of your head to keep it out of the way. The only hair that is free should be the hair that you are currently working with.

4. Recruit a friend if possible. To achieve a good multicolored look on the back of your head, another pair of eyes and hands makes a big difference. Alternately, make sure you have a hand mirror to hold behind your head and view your reflection in another mirror in front of you.

5. Mix the colors as suggested on the manufacturer's label and apply to the selected portions of your hair. Use aluminum foil hair strips to wrap around each section of colored hair after applying the coloring solution so it doesn't come into contact with your other hair.

6. Repeat until all the sections of your hair have been colored and wrapped. Process as directed on the hair color's label, taking care not to leave the solution on too long to avoid hair damage. Rinse thoroughly to remove all traces of dye.
