Decorate a small basket for a bridal shower jewelry gift.
Although the focus of a bridal shower is certainly to lavish gifts and encouragement on the bride-to-be, a bride may also choose to show appreciation to her friends and bridesmaids with a shower favor or gift. A jewelry basket is an item that bridesmaids can use not only for the ceremony and reception, but also for many events to come. Choose the same jewelry for each bridesmaid or select pieces that reflect each lady's special style.
Instructions
1. Decorate a small basket with ribbon, bows or flowers. Line the basket with a piece of fabric or lace.
2. Select or make the pieces of jewelry that you want to give each bridesmaid. Consider pieces made with pearls or small beads that coordinate with the bridesmaids' dresses. Coordinate earrings with a necklace or bracelet.
3. Place a monogrammed satin jewelry pouch inside each basket, made from wedding-theme colors. Select a small pouch for each piece of jewelry or a large pouch to hold all of the items. Add a matching cosmetic bag if your budget allows.
4. Add additional items if you like, such as candles, lotions or scarves, to fill out the remainder of the basket.
5. Wrap the entire basket with tulle and tie it closed with a ribbon. Add a special note, to create a more personalized gift.
