Making an easy bow doesn't have to take hours.
Decorative bows can be used for many things. Top off Christmas gifts with a handmade bow, or glue one to a wreath. Use them to decorate a church for a wedding or for home decorations. Make smaller ones and glue a hair clip to them to make hair bows. Spruce up a vase or a picture frame with a beautiful bow. It doesn't have to take all day to make adorable bows; for a less-elaborate, simple bow it only takes a few minutes.
Instructions
1. Place your ribbon flat on a work surface with the decorative part facing down.
2. Take the right end of the ribbon and place it across the middle so the end is pointing toward you and the loop is away from you. Use your finger to hold it in place.
3. Grab the left end of the ribbon and do the same.
4. Squeeze the center and adjust the bow as you would like it to look.
5. Twist the wire around the center of the bow to hold it in place. Make sure the ends of the wire are pointing toward the back. You can use a longer wire if you want to easily be able to place the bow on a craft.
