Belle wears
a simple and stylish bow that's easy to replicate
Belle is the beautiful lead character in the Disney film "Beauty and the Beast". Belle's style is laid-back and not overly glamorous. In the film, she usually wears her hair tied back in a low ponytail with a light blue ribbon. The ribbon that Belle wears in the film is simple to create and you will not even need to sew it.
Instructions
1. Gather the hair in a loose ponytail at the nape of the neck. Allow a few tendrils of hair to frame the face from the crown of the head on either side of the hair part.
2. Secure the ponytail with a hair band. You will be securing the hair with the ribbon, but if you would like a more secure hold, use a hair band to hold the hair before tying the ribbon.
3. Place the ribbon under the hair at the nape of the neck. The center of the ribbon should be at the center of the nape and the two sides extend out horizontally.
4. Tie the ends together in a knot. The knot gathers the hair together.
5. Make a loop with each end of the ribbon and tie the two loops together making a bow.
6. Let the free ends hang loose around the shoulders.
