Sometimes you need an inexpensive gift for Christmas, a birthday or an anniversary. Gifts under $15 are also convenient to have on hand for last-minute occasions and hostess gifts. A good gift doesn't have to have a big price tag. Give thoughtful presents without breaking the bank.

A small stack of note cards and envelopes or stationery wrapped in a wide ribbon and tied with an attractive bow makes a great gift for under $15. Many retail stores sell monogrammed note cards and stationery. Pick the ones marked with the first letter of the recipient's last name for a gift with a more personal feel.
Candles
A large beautifully scented candle can be purchased for less than $15 at many different stores. Consider a candle that smells like cinnamon or evergreen for the Christmas season, or a candle scented with vanilla or lavender for any occasion. Present the candle in an attractive gift bag, or simply tie a bow around it with a pretty piece of ribbon.
Pasta Bowl
The All Recipes website recommends this pasta bowl as a gift. In an inexpensive salad bowl, colander or pasta bowl place a small package of pasta, a jar of good quality pasta sauce or pesto, a head of garlic, a few tomatoes and some Parmesan cheese. This tasty gift can be served for under $15.
Scarf and Gloves
A matching scarf and glove set can be purchased for less than $15 at many retailers. Pick bright colors for a woman or a neutral color for a man, and choose a scarf and mittens if the recipient is a child. Purchase a lightweight scarf as an accessory for a woman during warmer seasons and skip the gloves.
Bubble Bath or Bath Salts
Choose aromatic bubble bath or bath salts that come in an attractive container. You can also buy inexpensive bath salts or bubble bath and transfer the product to a glass jar with a screw-on metal lid. Tie a small metal scoop to the neck of the jar of bath salts with string or a pretty piece of ribbon. Tie a honey dipper to the jar of bubble bath. Write the name of the fragrance, as well as the name of the recipient on a gift tag and attach it to the jar as well.
