Hair clippies are functional hair accessories. They serve stylish purposes while pulling hair back from the face. There are a multitude of hair clippies available in stores. However, you can make your own personalized hair clippies very easily and for little cost. Not only will you save money, but you'll have customized one-of-a-kind hair clippies designed especially for you.
Instructions
1. Purchase craft hair clips from a craft store. These are simply blank, plain hair clips used to make decorative hair clippies.
2. Coat a blank hair clip with a thin layer of hot glue. Squirt one dot on the clip and spread it all over the clip with the tip of the glue gun. Sprinkle colored glitter onto the hot glue and allow it to dry to create glittery hair clippies.
3. Glue gems or buttons onto a blank hair clip by placing a small dot of glue onto a gem or button and then pressing the object onto the hair clip.
4. Paint the hair clip using a tiny lipstick brush and any color paint. Neon colors are popular with teens, whereas pastel colors are appropriate for young children.
