Add a hair bow to a newborn's hair.
When you have a little princess with just a little hair, a hair bow may be challenging to keep in place. Even newborn girls with a little bit of fuzz can keep hair bows in place if you use bows made for holding a little bit of hair. Find some pretty hair pieces with flowers and ribbons and add cute hair bows to your newborn's head to match every outfit.
Instructions
1. Purchase tiny hair bows made for babies with very little hair. These clips have a special design that enables them to hold short hair and very fine hair. The metal clip on the underside of the hair bow is tiny and it generally has either grosgrain ribbon or velvet fabric glued over the clip to enable it to grab and hold fine hair.
2. Use a baby brush to brush any hair your baby has on the top of her head to either the left or the right side of the baby's head. Get the baby brush damp before brushing your baby's hair for even more control, if you desire.
3. Open the clip of the baby hair bow and slide it onto the hair you brushed on the top of the baby's head. Press the clip closed over the baby's hair. These special clips will hold even a few strands of fine hair tightly.
