Use intials, the company name or a symbol to monogram your shirts.
Monogrammed shirts add style and flair to an otherwise simple shirt, and they also create a professional touch. Use shirt monograms to market your name or your business and create brand recognition in a tasteful way. Monograms are typically stitched on the left pocket area, but you can put them on the upper arm of the shirt, centered in the middle of the sleeve, for a different look. Stick with one monogram style for all your shirts so clients recognize your brand.
Instructions
1. Download a monogram from a design website or create a monogram from scratch using a computer design program. Alternatively, simply choose a font and color you like in a word-processing program and type your lettering. Save it to a disk as well as print out a copy.
2. Choose a local tailor who specializes in monogramming shirts. Give him your disk and printed monogram copy. Ask about the cost and time involved in monogramming all your shirts.
3. Send your shirts to a monogram company if you decide not to go with a local tailor. Search online for a company that will monogram your shirts, but not require you to buy theirs. Send them a disk with your monogram or attach the file to an email.
