Newborn bows can secure the tiniest amount of short hair.
A baby's hair is usually fine, short and wispy. New moms feel headbands are their only option when accessorizing their little angel's hair because bows don't often stay in place. The good news is there are hair bows available that will stay put in a newborn's hair, as long as she has a strand of hair to grip.
Instructions
1. Purchase hair bows that are designed for fine hair or newborns. These specially designed bows are usually attached to really small hair clips or snap clips. You can get these bows online or at stores aimed at kids such as Babies R Us.
2. Comb your newborns hair gently to remove any tangles and into the style you want her to wear. For example, a left part with the majority of her hair combed over to the right will allow you to place the hair bow on either side securely.
3. Grip a section of your newborn's hair with your thumb and pointer finger. Open the hair bow, place it around the section of gripped hair, as close to your newborn's scalp as possible. Close the hair bow to ensure a secure grip.
