Little girls look cute with loopy hair bows, and they are easy to make. Bows can cost a lot when bought in a store, but you can make them cheaply yourself. All the items needed can be found in a craft store. You can make custom hair bows to match any outfit or season.
Instructions
1. Cut the ribbon into six 30-inch pieces. They can be of varying colors, styles and widths. Just be sure that they coordinate together.
2. Coat the ends with the clear nail polish to stop the ends from fraying.
3. Lay the ribbons on top of each other so that the ends are even.
4. Use a clothespin on one end to keep them together.
5. Take the hair clip apart, but save all the pieces.
6. Attach the top of the hair clip to the ribbon using a second clothespin.
7. Wrap the wire around the clip and ribbon, firmly attaching them together. Leave the end of the clip free, so that you can reassemble the clip more easily later on.
8. Form a loop with the ribbons on top of the clip, keeping them stacked.
9. Wrap the wire around the ribbon and clip again.
10. Create a second loop, right next to the first one, again wrapping with wire.
11. Continue looping and wrapping until you reach the end of the clip.
12. Cut the wire and tuck the ends underneath.
13. Put the hair clip back together.
14. Fluff out the ribbons, pulling the stacks apart carefully so that the hair bow looks full.
