Make a "cake" out of diapers to display at your craft show.
If you make diaper cakes for baby showers, you may want to show potential clients the variety of ways you can display and decorate diaper cakes. You need only a few simple craft supplies to make each baby diaper cake look unique. Decorate diaper cakes in themes of blue, pink and yellow.
Instructions
1. Display your diaper cakes on cake stands. This is a great way to add height to you displays. Place other cakes directly on your display table on cardboard cake circles. This will add variety to your display and increase the aesthetic appeal of the cakes.
2. Wrap each cake tier in a length of decorative ribbon. Because the diapers on the cake often are held together by rubber bands, wrapping the tiers with a wide length of ribbons works double-duty to conceal the rubber bands. Secure the ribbons on the diaper cake by tying them in bows or using a dot of hot glue.
3. Top the third tier of your diaper cake with a bunch of fresh or silk flowers that match the color palette of the cake. Consider pink roses for a "baby girl cake," a bunch of sunflowers for a "baby boy cake" and a group of Gerber daisies for a "unisex cake."
