Clear glass vases are easier to decorate.
Memory vases are a lifetime reminder of special events or special people. Birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and more can be commemorated with a special vase. The vase doesn't have to be new; any kind of glass vase will work. Decide how you're going to decorate the vase and make sure you have everything you need before you begin. Ticket stubs, or program headings combined with personalization will create a memorable vase.
Instructions
1. Gather the materials that will be glued to the vase. Place the items out on paper so you know exactly where to place them on the vase. Leave an open space in the front center of the vase for personalization.
2. Glue each item in place around the personalization space following the plan you made.
3. Apply the personalized decal or write your own words with a white paint pen.
4. Allow the glued on items and the decal or painted writing to dry overnight.
5. Spray the vase lightly with a clear lacquer or varnish. If you used decals check the instructions for the decal to make sure the varnish will not crinkle or ruin it.
