Instructions
1. Measure your pet's head from the bottom of the jaw to the top of the head, above the eyes.
2. Purchase an adult-sized band in any beauty section of a department store. You'll want to avoid the thick ones, which will be too big for your baby chihuahua's head. Cut it to fit the length of your pet's head, making it just a bit snugger than the length you'd measured.
3. Use your needle and thread to sew the elastic band together to form one small band for your pet's head.
4. Choose a colorful bow to attach to the headband. Fabric stores stock hundreds of different colors, patterns and textures, so you can color-coordinate any matching outfits or sweaters you have for your chihuahua.
5. Sew the colorful bow of your choice to the seam you have created in your pet's headband. Be sure to secure the bow to the band so your baby chihuahua will not be able to gnaw or chew the bow from the headband.
