"Sex and the City's" own cute-as-a-button art dealer, Charlotte York is the one known with the most classic and feminine style. From her polka dot dresses to her pretty hair bows, Charlotte has a distinctly demure and feminine style that could easily rival any 50s pin-up girl.
Instructions
1. Keep your hair rich, glossy and at a medium-long length. Charlotte opts for classic hairstyles, such as ponytails or sleek updos without a hair out of place. She also keeps it thick with very few layers, unlike Miranda, whose edgy bob cuts are always razored at the ends.
2. Coordinate your clothes. Unlike her feisty fashionista friend, Carrie, Charlotte rarely experiments with mismatched, clashing colors. She always sticks to coordinated colors for her outfits, right down to her shoes, handbag and accessories.
3. Experiment with classic prints and patterns. Although Charlotte's not one to shy away from patterns, she never wears any that are loud or garish on "Sex and the City." Instead, she'll opt for polka dots, stripes or floral prints.
4. Choose dresses fitted on top and flowing at the bottom. Instead of skin-tight dresses that are more Samantha's signature style, Charlotte will opt for a dress that is form-fitting at the bust with a bit of cleavage, such as a halter; and a-line at the bottom with a flirty flare.
5. Go retro-glam when it comes to makeup. Although Charlotte often wears pretty pastel colors on "Sex and the City," she'll usually go for retro glam for a night on the town with red lips and black liquid eyeliner.
