Easily organize hair bows.
Looking for that one hair bow to match an outfit can be frustrating. A hair bow may get lost, thrown into a purse, drawer or container to never be seen again. There is an easy, decorative way to keep track of your hair bows while adding some stye to your space at the same time.
Instructions
1. Place newspaper over your working surface. Plug in your glue gun so it gets hot. Put the letters of the name you will be using in front of you. Put them in a row so that each letter is touching the next. Some can go under and others over to make a unique pattern or they can just go side-by-side.
2. Glue the letters in the order you have selected. Hold the letter into place as it dries before moving on to the next. This keeps your letters in the position you prearranged. When you are finished, give the name a few minutes to dry. Flip it over and glue a single-hole, strap hanger in the middle. The letters are so lightweight that glue will work instead of screws.
3. Measure out the lengths of ribbon that will hang from the individual letters. You can do a ribbon for each letter, every other letter or however you want. Once you cut the ribbon, take a lighter and go over the edges quickly with heat. This will melt the cut and prevent the ribbon from tearing or fraying. Glue the ribbons on the back of letters and wait for them to dry.
4. Flip the letters back over and decorate them as desired. If you are using paint, do so before applying the ribbon. Use rhinestones, stickers or anything that you want to embellish the letters. Hang the monogram on the wall and clip the hair bows onto the ribbons.
