Do Maid-matron of honour Makeup

Do Bridesmaid Makeup

Ideally, a bridesmaid is beautiful but does not upstage the bride. She looks like a polished version of herself, with classic makeup that does not call attention to itself and enhances her features.

Instructions

1. Begin with a clean, moisturized face. Apply a light-coverage foundation, just enough to even out skin tone and take care of minor discolorations. Use under-eye concealer and the appropriate spot camouflage product if necessary.

2. Define brows and fill in spaces between hairs using a brow pencil or powder. Remove strays that grow outside the natural brow line and over the bridge of the nose. Trim long hairs as well or at least hold them in place with brow gel. What matters is that brows are well-groomed. There is no specific shape or look to follow.

3. Apply eye makeup primer. Keep makeup simple but flattering by selecting skin-toned and earthy shades for eyeshadow. You may use a pastel version of the color of the bridesmaid's gown as an accent, but you have to make sure it is light and inconspicuous.
