Make Frogthemed Wall Adornments For Any Child'S Room

With great wall decorations, it will seem as if there are frogs hopping on your walls.

Many children love frogs. Frogs are active and fun, making great "ribbe-t" noises that can make them giggle. It is ideal to create frog decorations for your child's walls. Your child will enjoy looking at this nature scene filled with frogs.

Instructions

1. Measure the child's room to decide exactly how many materials you'll need. Look at some nature books or the Internet to see pictures of frogs to get ideas of how you'd like to design your frog-themed nature scene.

2. Create paper templates of the frogs you want to place in your nature scene. Some people will choose a more realistic looking frog and others will want a cartoon style frog. Select the style you feel your child will appreciate most. Make several different sized frog templates and have the frogs at different angles (front, side and back views) to give your scene 3 dimensions.

3. Design additional templates to complement your frog templates, such as lily pads, flowers and other nature scenes. Think of things in nature your frog would have in their habitat. Try to create some variety. This is an excellent teaching tool for your child.

4. Use the templates to create the frog-themed decorations. Outline them lightly with a pen or a pencil on your chosen material for the most even cutting. This is an ideal project to share with an older child good with scissors.

5. Decorate frogs and other things seen in nature with markers and glitter to add details. This is a fun activity perfect for children of all ages. Allow frogs and nature items to completely dry before tacking or taping them to walls.
