Hair bows can be used by both girls and women, no matter their age. You can create hair bows out of a variety of materials to cater to buyers of all types. Use materials such as feathers, buttons, lace, coins, silk flowers, beads and strips of leather or faux fur to make individualized designs that you can sell.
Vintage Keychains
Scour thrift stores for vintage bottle caps and other small objects, and use them to sell a bit of nostalgia and fun. By using links of a small metal chain, you can connect key rings to the items that you have collected. For added flare, use metal stamps to personalize the objects with designs or initials.
Steampunk Jewelry
Steampunk jewelry allows for a great deal of creativity and also allows crafters to use recycled items, such as metal gears, clock parts, old keys, old silverware and other metal objects, to do something positive for the environment. Make steampunk jewelry by hanging objects from metal chains. Bracelets and necklaces can both be made this way. Complement those items by cutting down the handles of old silverware and bending the silverware into rings.
Buttons
Use a button press available at craft, fabric and hobby stores to create buttons to sell. With design software, you can create designs to press into buttons. If you plan to sell your items at craft fairs, you can make them to order while people wait by having a printer available to print designs as they are ordered and then pressing the designs into buttons. Buttons can be made in a variety of sizes.
