The way you style your hair is key when wearing Minnie ears.
If you're dressing up as Minnie Mouse for Halloween, you will need some hairstyle ideas that won't get in the way with your Minnie ears. Keeping the hair out of the way is necessary, but there are a number of ways you can achieve this. You can even incorporate your hairstyle with the ears, showing both off.
Buns
Minnie's ears are round and sit at either side of her head. You can mimic this by tying up your hair in two buns at either side of your scalp. Use hair ties and bobby pins to achieve the look, then slip on your Minnie ears so that the buns are behind each ear.
Braids
If you have long hair, consider making two braids that hang down your back, pigtail-style. This will keep the hair back and out of your face without letting it be seen, as it will be down your back. This will allow the Minnie ears on your head to be the focal point.
Skull Cap
A skull cap is a small nylon cap typically used to conceal hair that is under a wig. You can gather your hair under a black skull cap and place the Minnie ears over the skull cap, giving you the look of Minnie Mouse's scalp. This works best for those with short hair, as longer hair may spill out of the cap.
Weaving
For a cute look that lets your hair be shown off, incorporate your hair in and around the Minnie ears. Place the mouse ears headband onto your scalp, then wrap strands of hair around the band, making it look like the ears are growing out of your own scalp. Secure the woven strands of hair in place with bobby pins and spray with hairspray.
