Turn a bottle cap into a precious bow decoration.
Recycle old bottle caps into adorable hair accessories. Bottle caps can be decorated by using resin along with stickers, photos or images to personalize the cap before you attach it to the bow. This gives the bows an interesting look; plus, the bottle caps can be customized to match your child's oufits. However, securing bottle caps to a bow can be somewhat puzzling since the bottle cap has a concave shape. There are ways to make it adhere to a bow.
Instructions
1. Flip the bottle caps over so the inside of the cap is showing.
2. Glue a small foam disc inside the bottle cap to provide a level surface, which makes it easier to glue the bottle cap to the bow. Alternately, you can use scissors to make felt circles and glue those inside the bottle caps.
3. Place a dab of hot glue on your felt or foam circles, and press the bottle caps on to your bow. Hold it in place for a few seconds to allow the glue to adhere to the bow.
4. Allow the hot glue to dry before handling the bows.
