Attach your completed bow to a headband for variety.
Hello Kitty is a popular Japanese animation character. A friendly, compassionate little cat, one of Hello Kitty's characteristic accessories is the red bow she wears. Using a few basic and inexpensive craft supplies, you can easily re-create an adorable Hello Kitty hair bow for yourself. Experiment with making multiple bows in different colors and sizes. Add some glitter or rhinestones for extra sparkle and flare. With your leftover supplies, you can make extra bows to give as gifts or to donate to a local charity.
Instructions
1. Cut a strip of felt, approximately 9-by-2 inches.
2. Stitch the two ends of the felt strip together, forming a loop.
3. Loosely stitch in the center of the loop, through both layers of felt. Then, wrap the thread around the center of the bow several times. Make a knot and cut the remaining end.
4. Cut a second felt strip, about 3/4 inch wide and 1 foot long. Wrap this strip around the center of the bow and secure it in place with two stitches.
5. Glue the completed Hello Kitty felt bow to a hairclip.
