Minnie Mouse Foam Crafts

Cut out foam sheets to mimic Minnie Mouse's distinctive ears.

Minnie Mouse is a well known character created by Disney in 1928. Various Minnie Mouse crafts can be constructed from foam board sheets. The foam board comes in a variety of shapes and colors. The foam sheets can also be cut to your own design. Minnie Mouse foam crafts are fun for children to make.

Magnets

Minnie Mouse magnets can be cut out and designed for your fridge or desk. Use a pattern to cut out the round head and the two large, iconic Minnie Mouse ears out of black foam board. For Minnie's trademark bow, cut out a small piece of red or pink foam. Use craft glue to secure the bow near one ear. Glue a magnet on the back. Add sequins or rhinestones to Minnie's bow to add dazzle. For more advanced Minnie magnets, cut out pieces to construct Minnie's face or entire body.

Memo Board

Construct a memo board for a child's room or even for yourself. Use a large sheet of foam board for the board itself. Cut out the Minnie Mouse ears or create Minnie's whole face out of foam. Glue the Minnie Mouse to the corner of the large foam board. Add designs or small shapes to the edges of the board for style. Poke two holes through the foam board with paper clips and bend them into place. Slide small square note paper under the clips to hold it in place. Glue a magnet on the back and hang it on the fridge. Use thumb tacks to secure it to a wall.

Minnie Ears

Create your own inexpensive Minnie Mouse ears, just like the ones you see in Disney World. Cut out a pattern of the large round ears on black foam. Make two sets of ears. Glue the two sets of ears together evenly over a black plastic headband. Draw and cut out a red or pink bow from a foam sheet. Glue the bow over one ear. Allow the glue to dry completely before wearing. Add glitter or sequins to the bow to make it sparkle.

Ornament Frames

Measure and cut out the Minnie Mouse ear shape at least an inch larger than a picture out of the foam board. You will need two like pieces for the front and back. Cut out the frame opening in the head part of one of the pieces. Don't cut it too big or the photo will not stay in place and may fall out. Glue the edges of both pieces together evenly. Cut out a red or pink bow for the ear and glue it on. Slide a photo into the frame. Use a hole punch to make a hole at the top. Add yarn or ribbon through the hole to hang it. These small frames make simple gifts for friends and family. Decorate them any way you like.
