Look Pretty

Looking pretty begins on the inside with a positive self image, and emanates to the outer person that the rest of the world sees. But there are also things you can do to maximize the prettiness of the outer package, and it all starts with taking good care of yourself.


Instructions


1. Start with a genuine smile; it instantly makes you more pretty. If you hesitate to smile because your teeth aren't as white as you'd like, try one of the many home self-whitening kits that are currently available.


2. Protect your skin from sun damage by wearing a moisturizer that includes SPF every day. Keep your pores clean and your skin glowing by removing your makeup at night and letting your skin breathe. Eat foods containing essential fatty acids to keep your skin moist and glowing.


3. Learn to apply makeup so that it looks natural. For instance, blush should enhance your cheekbones and make you look healthy, not make you look like a clown.


4. Care for your hair by getting regular cuts and using shampoos and styling products appropriate for your hair type. Exercise caution in using too many chemical treatments and/or hair appliances such as hot rollers and hair dryers. Too many harsh processes without the proper conditioning will leave you with hair that is brittle and has no shine.


5. Choose the right clothes for the occasion, and be sure they fit well. Don't wear clothes that are too baggy or pants that are too long or short. Be sure your shoes are in good condition and don't have a lot of scuffmarks.


6. Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. Your body needs it to function at it's best, and your skin will benefit as well. Drinking plenty of water each day will result in feeling better overall, which will make you look prettier.


7. Get plenty of exercise. You'll look better, experience more restful sleep at night and leave a lot of your stress behind.
