Use a standard craft hot glue gun to make the hair clip.
Turn an ordinarily alligator clip into a Tinkerbell hair decoration in no time. Disney mainly sells Tinkerbell merchandise, a character from Peter Pan. Look for flat Tinkerbell charms to use for the clip, though you can also use small, light figurines. The clip can be any size you want, but make sure it fits the child who wears it. Beware of copyright and trademark laws that prevent the selling of the Disney Tinkerbell image.
Instructions
1. Any color of ribbon will work.
Cut a piece of thick, cloth-like ribbon slightly longer than the flat portion of the alligator clip.
2. Squeeze a line of hot glue onto the flat portion of the alligator clip. If the clip is more than 1 inch wide, apply a thin line of glue to the edges connecting the four corners, and a line in the middle. Press the strip of ribbon onto the glue gently to prevent any glue from seeping through the fabric. Gently tap the ribbon with your finger into the glue. Wait 20 minutes for the glue to harden before you continue.
3. Apply glue to the back of the Tinkerbell item and gently press it onto the ribbon. It can sit anywhere you prefer. Allow 4 hours for the glue to dry before using the clip.
