Plan a Mickey Mouse party using red, white and black decorations.
Mickey Mouse has been a favorite cartoon amongst children and adults alike for several generations. While you can easily purchase licensed Mickey Mouse party supplies online or from local hobby stores, decorating for a Mickey Mouse party in a more subtle way can be both simple and easy by using the shapes and colors most commonly associated with the animated mouse.
Instructions
1. Red, yellow and black are colors associated with Mickey Mouse.
Decorate the party with the Mickey Mouse colors: black, red and yellow. Place red and yellow tablecloths on the tables. Wrap black plastic forks and spoons with red and yellow ribbon and place them on top of the table alongside the black plates. Sprinkle the table with Mickey Mouse confetti. Attach red, yellow and black balloons with the red and yellow ribbon at various places around the party to create a festive atmosphere.
2. Birthday party hats are nice, but Mickey Mouse ears would be better!
Give your guests Mickey Mouse ear headbands instead of the traditional birthday party hats when they arrive at the party.
3. Mice, especially Mickey Mouse, love to eat cheese.
Use a Mickey-Mouse-shaped cookie cutter to cut out a Mickey silhouette out of the middle of peanut butter and jelly or turkey sandwiches to serve to your guests. Serve a cheese plate, since mice love to eat cheese. For dessert, serve a cake decorated with a Mickey Mouse cake topper.
