Instructions
Memory Wire Hair Wrap
1. Measure around your head as you would for a hair band. Add 2 inches to this measurement and cut a piece of memory wire using the wire cutters.
2. Grasp one end of the memory wire with the tip of the needle nose pliers and curl into a closed loop to make this fantastic hair jewelry.
3. Plan your bead pattern on the bath towel so that the beads will not roll away. Plan the entire length of the wire to ensure you have enough beads to complete the fantastic hair jewelry.
4. String your beads on the uncurled end of the memory wire. Leave a half inch at the end for curling.
5. Grasp the end of the memory wire with the tip of the needle nose pliers and curl into a closed loop like you did on the other end.
Bejeweled Bobby Pins
6. Paint the bobby pins lightly with the acrylic enamel paint. Too much paint can tend to chip off. Allow the paint to dry.
7. Turn the bobby pin on it's side with the top side up. Place the bobby pin on the bath towel and insert a straight pin on each side to hold it in place. You may need to fold the bath towel to add thickness.
8. Dab a small amount of jewelry glue on the bobby pins using a toothpick.
9. Choose the gemstones or beads you have chosen for your fantastic hair jewelry bobby pins. Decorate the bobby pins by placing them on the jewelry glue. Allow the glue to dry thoroughly. You may choose to fill the whole side of the bobby pin or place just one gemstone on the middle bend.
