Wrap Christmas presents with fabric bows this year.
Decorate your Christmas presents with something different this year by presenting them with fabric bows. They're an alternative to other types of ribbons and can be made or bought. You can attach bows that are already in a bow shape with tape to the top of the package. You can also attach bows that are in the form of a long piece of fabric by wrapping it around the package.
Instructions
Tape
1. Cut pieces of double-sided fabric tape as wide as the ribbon you're attaching to the package.
2. Place pieces of tape at points on the ribbon that will be attached to the package.
3. Pull off backing of the tape.
4. Position ribbon where you want it and press down to secure it.
Without Tape
5. Wrap the ribbon around the package like you would a nonfabric ribbon. You can only do this with a piece of fabric ribbon long enough for you to turn it into a Christmas bow.
6. Tie the ribbon into a bow shape on top of the package and secure it by pulling it tightly.
7. Fluff the ribbon to make it more presentable.
