Instructions

1. Wash your hair the day before you want to get your big look. Slightly soiled hair is easier to style. Towel dry your hair.

2. Comb out your hair gently with a wide toothed comb. Turn your head upside down and blow dry hair starting at the roots. Dry your hair completely.

3. Brush your hair out again and heat up the hot rollers and the flat iron. Velvet lined rollers work best and give you little hair damage.

4. Clip the top two-thirds of your hair up in alligator clips. Flat iron the bottom 1third of your hair. Straightening the bottom of your hair will make the top portion look larger when you poof it up.

5. Comb up a swatch of hair at the crown of the head. The swatch should be two to three inches wide. Place the roller at the ends of the hair. Roll the hair under all the way up to the scalp and clip it in place.

6. Section off the rest of the two-thirds top of your hair one section at a time until it is all rolled. Use the largest rollers you have and spray your entire head of hair once it is rolled.

7. Allow rollers to remain in your hair until they cool completely. Remove the clips and rollers. Do not brush your hair.

8. Grasp the section of hair at the crown of your head. This will be the first section you rolled. Move the teasing comb up and down the hair about an inch or two from the base. This teasing motion will make the hair poofy.

9. Tease each section of hair in the same manner, puffing it all up a few inches from the scalp. Comb over the sections lightly to cover the tease. Spray the hair in place.
