Easy Girly Crafts

Help her create a cute craft.

Easy girly crafts feature sweet themes that girls love, like cute baby animals. Use clay, paint or paper to help your daughter craft some of the cutest creations. Encourage her to give the finished projects away as gifts or use them as decorations for her room. Place these on her shelf or desk so she can gain pride from crafting.

Heart Card

Help your daughter make a heart card for someone in need. Fold pink card stock paper in half to make a card shape. Cut out red, purple and pink paper hearts to glue in random places on the front and inside of the card. Glue heart charms on top of the paper hearts on the front of the card only. This creates a pop-out effect on the front of the card. Use markers to write a nice sentiment inside the card.

Bunny and Teddy Bear Clay Pals

You and your daughter can craft cute bunny and teddy bear clay pals. Use moldable white clay to press into flat discs and create shapes with rabbit and teddy bear cookie cutters. You can also make hearts or other shapes, depending on what types of cookie cutters are in your kitchen. Let the clay dry and then paint the animals the next day.

Embellished Jean Purse

Buy your daughter a jean purse and help her decorate it with embellishments. Show her sew buttons on with a needle and thread on the outside of the purse. You can also use a hot glue gun to glue on pebbles, charms and foam flowers.

Baby Bird's Nest

Show your daughter replicate a bird's nest using sticks and a few items from the craft store. Cut out a circular piece of cardboard and help her layer and glue sticks on top of each other to create the look of a nest. She may need to layer several sticks before the nest is complete. Place a few rocks and twigs at the bottom of the nest. Buy small ceramic eggs at the craft store and help her paint the eggs pink and purple. She can also make clay baby birds to put in the nest, if desired.
