Eva Longoria
In an interview on "Dateline", Eva Longoria recalled how when she was younger her siblings called her "la prieta fea," which means "the ugly dark one." Well, as millions of people witness every Sunday on "Desperate Housewives", those days are long behind her. With her glamorous looks and petite figure, Eva is anything but ugly and if you're desperate to look like her, here's do it.

1. When you think of Eva Longoria, the first thing you think of is her beautiful chestnut brown hair. Whether she wears it long and flowing or in an updo, you can always count on her hair looking shiny and healthy. To achieve Eva's great hair color, head straight to the drugstore and look for L'Oreal's Colour Experte in Chocolate Mousse. (Eva happens to be a spokesmodel for L'Oreal.)
2. With their deep, sultry brown color, Eva's eyes speak volumes. To make your eyes stand out just like Eva's, first apply a shimmery nude shadow on your upper lid followed by a liquid liner close to the rim making a "winged" tip on the outside corner. Follow with 2 coats of volumizing black mascara. Now go out there and bat your big beautiful Eva Longoria eyes!
3. Since Eva's eyes are so outstanding and glamorous, a downplayed (but still luscious) lip is required. To obtain Eva's luscious lips try MAC's Jubilee lipstick as your base color then overlay it with MAC's C-thru lipglass or Instant Gold lustreglass to get that shimmery, glossy look. Now flash your pearly whites and let yourself glow!
4. On "Desperate Housewives," Eva wears some pretty sexy, skimpy clothes. In real life, however, Eva keeps it chic and simple. Among her favorite designers are True Religion, Angel Sanchez, Monique Lhuillier and Carla Mancini. Of course, Eva can well afford to spend thousands on her designer clothes but for us mere mortals, spending some time at the mall will do just fine in helping us replicate Eva's look. Kohl's, Macy's and yes, even Target all carry items that will help you copy Eva's fashionable look. Just remember, keep the color and styles simple--monochromatic colors, well-fitted pants and tops, and keep the accessories to a minimum.
5. As beautiful as Eva is on the inside, she also has a beautiful heart. In order to give back to her Latino community, Eva has become spokeswoman for Padres Contra El Cancer (Parents Against Cancer), an L.A.-based organization that works with area hospitals to provide counseling, support and information for children with cancer. It assists about 750 families each year. Since stepping up as national spokeswoman in 2005, Eva has helped raise funds for children stricken with cancer and their loved ones. Eva's next goal is to help the organization go national and hire hospital interpreters. So after you've made yourself look as beautiful as Eva, go out there and help make the world a more beautiful place!
