Use rollers to give your hair body.
Boost your flat hair by giving it body. From shampoo to curling, you can give your hair some umph at every stage of your styling process. Use shampoos, conditioners and sprays formulated for volumizing because they contain ingredients that coat each hair, making it fuller. Bow drying and curling techniques also add volume.
Instructions
1. Wash your hair with volumizing shampoo. Condition only your ends to keep it from weighing the roots down.
2. Blow dry your hair by pulling your hair up from your head and drying the roots first, which will make them seem thicker. Alternatively, use a wide roll brush while drying your hair. Take a 2-inch-wide section of hair, wind it around the brush and dry the section. Continue until all your hair is dry.
3. Instead of blow drying, roll your hair on large rollers, first down the middle of your hair, then on the sides. Dry your hair under a cap hair dryer.
4. Use a volumizing hair spray to keep your hairstyle in place.
